Circular Revolution is a business-led innovation programme, which is supporting Wales to develop sustainably. The project is designed and delivered in partnership with Riversimple, Swansea University and the University of Exeter and is the first business-led hub in the UK focussed on circular thinking.
The £2.3m operation is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government who are contributing over £1.5m. The project focusses on helping the practical transformation and transition of businesses to a new circular business model. The Circular Revolution will support Wales to develop sustainability in West Wales and the Valleys and beyond and help build the Green economy. Through the European Regional Development Fund, this project will help create jobs, support business and raise skills in Wales.
We worked with the Circular Revolution team to create a new visual identity and website that reflected the aims of the project. The logo design was inspired by infinity loops representing blockchain forming a circular spine to denote resilience, connectivity and strength, these are separated by smaller nodes which represent the businesses that the project is designed to help, feeding into an endless, cyclical whole.
The colour palette and imagery used throughout are inspired by the natural world which Circular Revolution is helping to protect.We worked with the Circular Revolution team to create a new visual identity and website that reflected the aims of the project.
